About

Pamela EndersGreetings!

From Tiger Woods to my beloved Red Sox; from olde England’s Queen Elizabeth I (not the current QE-II) to Nelson Mandela; from Moses and Jesus to the Dalai Lama; from the brave soldiers of WWI and WWII to everyday troopers; from Laurence Olivier to Judy Garland; from revolutionaries of every era to Martin Luther King and Gandhi…this blog will celebrate and explore what makes these individuals shine and will offer practical tips for incorporating mental toughness into your everday life.

You will learn what characteristics and qualities contribute to greatness. You will discover how to acquire mental toughness that will ensure your success.  You will learn how to overcome adversity and welcome set-backs and mistakes.  You will discover valuable peak performance strategies that you can easily incorporate into your life.

Who am I to write about such things?  I’ve been a psychologist for almost 3 decades and I work as a peak performance coach, using techniques developed by sports psychologists to help people perform at an optimal level in high stakes, high pressure situations.

I’m on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and also an adjunct faculty member of the Beasley School of Law at Temple University. I am also a jazz-cabaret singer with 3 CDs to my name.  My work enables me to blend my love of performing and psychology.  I’m endlessly curious and defiantly practical in my approach to my work and to life.

When not working, I like to hike in the French Alps (or anywhere actually), bike, cook, eat chocolate (dark only, please), travel, read, read, read, sing, listen to other singers, watch the Red Sox any chance I get, and spend as much time as I can with friends and my wonderful husband, Bob.

So, read on, stay tuned, and please let me know what you think!

To your success,

Pamela
